Day 1 : Adding Expressions that use the same VariableDescription: Adding expressions that use a variable that refers to the same input
Objective: The purpose of this module is to have two expressions that have a variable value that is the same for both expressions. When this is the case we can use the same letter for that value and we can combine the two expressions together if that is something meaningful like adding the earnings of two people based on the SAME variable number of days they have worked
Help content is :

If I have an expression for how much money Paul has after a variable number of days (given by the variable 'n').

e.g.  30 +5n

And

If I have an expression for how much money John has after the same variable number of days (given by the same variable 'n').

e.g.  100 - 3n
Then I can create an expression for how much money they have altogether after that variable number of days (given by the that variable 'n').

30 + 5n  + 100  -3n
= 130 (add the values they both have)  + 5n -3n
= 130 +2n

Because +5 euro every day less 3 euro every day is  plus 2 euro every day in total.

Add the values (normal adding)  and add together where the same variable is used for the variable part.
